Uninstall Swing

The uninstaller clears everything SWING put on your computer: the game, your saves, your settings and its logs. It shows you what it found and asks before removing anything. Any videos you made with the game are yours, so it leaves those.

Mac

Uninstaller for Mac

Unzip it, right-click Uninstall SWING and choose Open, then Open again. If your Mac still blocks it, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.

Windows

Uninstaller for Windows

If you used SWING-Setup.exe you don't need this: open Settings > Apps, find SWING and choose Uninstall. Otherwise unzip it and open UninstallSWING.exe. If Windows warns you, choose More info, then Run anyway. If you put the game somewhere unusual, move the uninstaller into the game's folder first.

Or do it by hand

Mac

  1. Quit SWING.
  2. In Finder, open Applications.
  3. Drag SWING to the Trash.

To remove your saves and settings too

This can't be undone. In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder, paste each of these, and move what it finds to the Trash:

  1. ~/Library/Application Support/com.lowpolycity.swing
  2. ~/Library/Preferences/com.lowpolycity.swing.plist

Windows

  1. Close SWING.
  2. If you used SWING-Setup.exe, press Windows + R, paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs, press Enter, and delete the SWING folder. Delete the SWING shortcuts on your Desktop and in the Start Menu too.
  3. If you unzipped it, find the SWING_Windows folder and delete it, and the zip if you kept it.

To remove your saves and settings too

This can't be undone. Press Windows + R, paste this, press Enter, and delete the SWING folder it opens to:

  1. %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\LowPolyCity

A few settings also stay in the Windows registry, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\LowPolyCity\SWING. They're tiny and harmless to leave.

Your online login isn't stored on your computer, so uninstalling doesn't delete it. Back to downloads
